Super if you want a huge selection and a price tag that goes along with it. I much prefer Sportsman's. Like I said, there might be a better selection, but the prices are terrible compared to Sportsman's. I drop by Bass Pro occasionally, and I'm in the area often, but I rarely get much there due to price.

I agree ^^^^, as far a a store to walk around in or find some hard to find equipment, shops like Bass Pro and Cabela's are nice but when it comes to bang for the buck Sportsman's isn't in any danger.

Love sportsmans for fly tying materials. They are the cheapest around for things like thread, wire and all around materials.

Bass Pro Shops are fun to walk around in but I'm still going to purchase most of my tackle and gear at Jax. I go there because they have durable high quality stuff and the staff is usually informative and helpful. And....they are locally owned, which I believe helps our local economy and community. Just my 2 cents.
