Catfish
Post By: muleskinr      Posted: 9/17/2012 5:43:42 PM     Points: 83
Went fishing with my wife yesterday at Lonetree, got there at around 8 a.m. she caught a 7 lb cat at around 9:30 then a 25 lb 38 in cat at around 11 a.m. South boat dock is open, north boat dock is out of the water. Overall a great day fishing even tho I got skunked. Watching her catch the big one was worth it.

I don't like the use of the stringer and then release But hey we all gotta learn some time
Congrats on a very long cat and the release.
Your wife should be proud of herself.

metal stringers work a lot better for releaseing later if need be and for the cats with rope stringers i dont think it matters you would have a very hard time killing a cat fish. you could about field goat kick one back and they would proble still live. bery nice cats by the way. wish i would get one of those this year

Well done! Next time, have a portable live well with you for safe fish storage, take a picture of the fish only if it is on a pillow made of genuine snow goose down and be sure to release one of the heartiest game fish within 20 to 25 seconds tops of landing it.
It's not a trout, it will live!
Nice fish really! Great time of year for the Kitties

LOL. Funny stuff!

A catfish is to a trout as a snow goose is to a rubber ducky. :)

FYI:
Fallow: Left unplowed and unseeded during a growing season
Follow: Act in accordance with someone's rules, commands, or wishes

I just want to congratulate Muleskinr and his wife on their fine catch of
that catfish....KUDOS to 'ya (you).

Please excuse some of the members of this great forum for their judgement in calling out others bc of their spelling, grammar, or even
ethics. It's all good.

Seriously though....many of us kid around and joke in fun....sometimes at
others' expense. Many of those times, it's bc we know each other, and
some of the other times...well.... it's bc some members are just anal about
a lot of things. In time, I think that you will be able to establish between
who you would'nt mind fishing with, and who you would definitely steer
clear of.
