I mauled the kokes through the ice in the snake river arm last winter . when do they start moving into the area ? i would like to catch them with the fly rod or spinning gear .

droolr,
About the middle of October would be a good time I reckon. It all depends on the weather. FYI - Snagging is not longer permitted at Dillon.
Good Fishing!

I don,t care for snagging. i find it to be a waste of money and i don,t like leaving hooks with lots of lead in the lake bed.

The spawning bed at the snake may be high and dry. The water is going down fast.
