These pictures are from the past couple weeks. The weekends have been really quite since the end of June and most fishermen are fishing from the dam. I see very few waders on the weekend and by noon most fishermen are gone. The bass in the photo was 8 pounds, 2 ounces.
Jarrett Edwards holds the record at 11lbs 6oz from back in the day. Very worthy fish still though. I've been hoping to try my luck wading out there all season. I guess I'm going to have to head out soon.

Hey twistertail- I've caught numerous bass there that were big as well but I've never had a scale. My biggest was 26.5 inches, did you happen to get a measurement on yours because I've always wondered how much mine could have weighed. Nice fish, and a flyrod to boot. I've caught 6 an 7 pound trout on a fly rod but I would love to stick a 5+ pound bass. Good job.
