Fished with a buddy this morning. Went out to the hag and floated around for a few hours. I submitted a conditions report, but I think one was made yesterday, so not sure if they will use it. Anyway, my friend was throwing some flashing crankbait he got off t.v. and hooked this 30 inch cat...CRAZY!
We were pretty much in the middle of the lake. Headed to the rip-rap and I got this nice 15 incher. no one on the water this morning.
Saw a great sunrise.

Nice! Hagler has been good to me this year, glad to see a nice cat come out of it!

Nice cat! That in a nice fish, where did you hook it and I can believe that because I was fishing with a tiny mepps and caught a 17" cat.

@Crewser....we were pretty much straight across from the boat ramp in the middle of the lake. the fish also had some kind of tag on it, never seen one like that. just a round white disc on one of the fins. its still swimming...
