Spent 5 days at stagecoach a month or so ago.Had a blast!Left with a new respect for rainbow trout. My son in laws comeing back from the navy for 14 days.I really want to take him to stagecoach for the same experiance, but iam worried about the heat.I dont want to take him 3 hours for no or poor fishing.I was wondering if someones been lately and can help with a report.I would really appreciated it.Thank you in advance.

I haven't been to Stagecoach for years, but I do know it is a State Park and you could call the office their and get information. Call Mon-Fri during business hours. Hope this helps.

I was there last weekend. Water temp was pretty warm, but fish were jumping offshore in the morning. I caught my first pike on a fly in a couple of hours. People downshore were doing well with bait. Lots of boats trolling and people fishing in the coves. It was hot during the day with afternoon clouds or thunderstorms. I wish I had longer to fish there, although the tailwater below was pretty good too.
