Serioulsy cannot remember why I stopped fishing here years ago. Killed 'em walking the dam this evening. Fished 6-9:45pm, caught 12 or more dink smallies and another 8 dink Walleye/Saugeyes. Also caught 3 nicer smallies (pictured) right after sundown (8:30ish). Also went out last Tuesday, the 10th from 8-9:45pm and caught 5 smaller eyes (12-15") and a 14" LMB. Hopefully my bellyboat bladder repair holds so I can get out there again this week and do some real damage!

Castandblast714 - Is that a Matzuo rod/reel combo? I have a 6'6" Matzou combo I picked up earlier this year and I abslutely love it. Just curious...

Nice fish by the way, smallies are fun!!!!!

@nightangler, yup, sure is! I picked the 6' model up from Wal-Mart in anticipation of my lady joining me at some point, love it especially for the low, low price of $19.95...it's a little more sporty than I typically like rods, but it did good on its maiden voyage. Thanks for the kind words all, tight lines!

I've never fished there before but, I seem to have pretty good luck for smallies using a soft plastic similar to a "hula grub" rigged on a 1/4 ounce jig head and worked along the bottom as a craw imitation. You might give that a shot. Smallies love crawdads
