Have caught logs (pike) fishing from the shore Dynamic Dynamos. Most of them are 24+ inches and some larger. Seems that they hit sometime after 1 or 2pm and after a wind comes up. After the wind, you will see the water muddied and I have caught them right at the edge of the muddied water. If you are not familiar with the dynamic lures, get on the website where you can order them. I have had the best luck with the LIGHT perch color and the Ghost Trout. Take a look at some of the movies to get the idea how to work the lures. You will probably land some trout during your stay the will have teeth marks on them from encounters with pike. Good LUCK!!

Rapala jerk baits in the Husky Jerk model... HJ14 or 12.... tennesee shad or clown... also a Dynamo in rainbow or Perch....
Smallies.... some topwater in the morning around wood, and small jigs and plastics also around steep rock and wood.. South of the marina on the West side, and up north just past where your staying...

I have had luck for pike with the silver rapala husky jerk on the the north end of the lake and by the pine inlet. However I haven't fished from the shore. A huge pike was taken out of there earlier this year and rumor has it that it was on a hot dog wrapped in bacon. As far as small mouth I have a lot of luck with gold spinners over by the dam on the south side of the lake. Good Luck and have fun.
