Went there 2 weeks ago. As usual for this time of the summer the weeds are choking out the South East corner of the lake. Once we got outside the green stuff it was just a matter of finding the depth the fish were holding at. If you have a boat you will be into the fish just as we were. If you are fishing from shore you might need to head up towards the dam to avoid the weeds. Good luck, and let us know how you do.

If you are fishing from a boat, troll slow with a bright colored crocodile. You will soon get bored of catching trout. If fishing from the shore, try the orange garlic marshmallows. If fishing for muskie, best of luck. I have yet to see one at deweese in ten plus years of fishing there. Good luck and have fun.

Well if that musky was dead and you kept it. It would be under the 36 inch minimum size requirement in order for you to keep it.

Be sure to read the regulations before going to a specific body of water.
