I've had my best luck with kastmasters. Though plenty of other lures made for trout work just fine. Just keep trying different things. The longer you fish the more comfortable you'll become with what you use, and you'll probably end up with a go to lure. I haven't fished dillon, but I'd try along the river arms.

Personally, I think Dillon is a terrible fishery. All stockers. The river arms are probably best. Wiht the blue river being so low, prolly not much better. Drive about 40 miles north of Dillon and try Wolford. Kokes and bows are doing well and the lake is holding water pretty well. Could try Williams Fork for another option. They have nice Pike. I'd fish those two any day before Dillon. Good luck!
