How has the shore been fishing at Aurora lately? Any affect due to lack of rain/heat? Quincy has been dead, gonna try somewhere tomorrow, just checking it out.... Thanks guys.

Talked to some friends, they said from shore it has been slow. But if you can get to 30-40 FOW, they were having some success with Walleye. Sorry, I wish I could get you some more info. I will be there probably on Friday morning.

I was able to manage a 5 species day fishing from shore at Aurora yesterday. 9 dink perch, a dink LM & SM bass along with a healthy 14 in rainbow and 16 in walleye!

The key is getting wet, which in this heat is not a problem. Water is a little cool at first, but you get used to it. I was wading up to my belly amongst the reeds and casting a worm on a hook with a split shot. That was the ticket. Drag it like a crawdad and they seem to like that.

Good luck.
