Did you fish? Bellyboat? I was thinking of going next week, but concerned that the weeds are out-of control with the hot weather we've had. Any info appreciated!

Caught 5 from shore. weeds not bad, it depends on how you fish.

Could not have said it any better CACHEM ALL, the same technique was used in our successes even with all the extra attention these waters have been given.

Only 5 huh?

The only solace I get from people who like to put smaller ponds on blast on here is knowing that if 30 extra guys show up, maybe 3 guys are savvy enough to catch 'em good - other than the guys who luck into a few of course. :)

Just joined the forum and just moved into Boulder County. Looking for places to fish I came across this on my bike rides. iI stopped by it today, but all I had was a fly rod in the car. Caught a couple of small (very small) blue gills on a tiny grasshoper.

So, without giving out any of your secrets, can i ask some basic questions, like:
which lake(s) should I fish? (Don't have a float tube, all fishing will be done from shore)
Other suggestions regarding flies or lures.
Thanks heaps.
