Hey Walleye, I'll be hitting Quincy early tomorrow morning about 6 for a couple hours before work. I can show you some places and also what to use if you want to join. Shoot me back if you want to.

I fished there today from 6-930, caught nothen. I used senkos and swimbaits mostly. The water is extremely low...you can almost walk to the middle with waders in one area. There were some dead bass laying about, and now theres a green slime along the bank. I spoke to everyone I ran across, and no one caught anything. GL to you, there are some nice fish in there if you can findem.

I fish Quincy regularly. It was great until recently. I don't know Raxman, but he's the closest thIng to a skipper right now for Quincy. Fishing Quincy is really tough right now. Keep in mInd that parts of Q are 80-90 feet. In this heat, fish can easiy get away from your offerings.

Good luck if you go, but don't have high hopes. You're better off at Aurora or Cherry Creek.

In past years finding any shallow that were hungry I used top water mouse, great fun.

With the hot weather, low water and thick weeds, the shore fishing might be pretty tough. Many fish have also moved to deeper water. I've been doing decent for both lmb and smb in the last couple weeks on my belly boat fishing plastics close to edges of deep weedbeds and around deep structure, 20-35 ft down. I couldn't really tell you what to use from shore other than persistence. I've tried with a lot of lures/baits without much success when conditions get like this. Good luck out there.
