Good bass ponds near Denver?

Was wondering where a good bass pond is near Denver/Aurora?! I'm
Starting to get desperate to catch a good size bass!! Only been catching like 6 inch bass :( any good ponds I can go to?!

I wish you luck with your question, but people tend to be pretty protective of their favorite bass ponds.

Quincy Reservoir is arguably the best bass fishery in CO. I don't consider myself a great bass angler, but I catch bass 16"-18" long there pretty regularly.

Like Pink said, quincy is great, but if we want to keep it great, gotta c&r.....

ponds are a different beast here. like said above, people are protective. i got into this when i joined, i have also seen a pond that was awesome die out in one year because of a tool who kept taking his limit. you just have to get out the ol google maps and scout, at least thats how i had to... fishing close to home the book is sweet...
