Fishing a New pond been catching alot of fish of pretty good size, tried to fish with lures and couldn't seem to find any that worked half as good a good Ol' crawler on the bottom. Got lucky a couple days ago and pulled in 3 fish right in a row at the 18" mark. Maybe I can pull a monster out of there soon!!

Nice bass, not sure if I totally agree those are MA's tho..they appear to be more around the 15 inch mark. here is a look at an 19 1/2inch LM from last weekend. Not tryin to bust chops just there are a ton of guys/gals on here that know how big fish really are. Give those fish another season or two, then I could see them being an MA
Nice fish porn!

yes droptine your correct. the recent MA posted were made out to be much bigger then they really are. the "5pounder" really is 2.5. they are all good bass. wait till they get their first 20+ incher. heres the math system you do to get the approximate weight.... Length x Length x Girth and divide that number by 1,250. also know that a 5lb bass' mouth should be close to the same size as an average grown mans fist. im not bad mouthing anyones bass they are all good sized, my children love catching fish like that.

Looking back at the pictures you can't really tell how big they are Ill try to get a few better ones next time. But I have seen a couple TOADS swimmin around in this pond. Threw a wacky rigged 7" senko today and absolutely hammered the fish. caught about 8 the same size as those today, one or 2 that were maybe a little bit bigger but not much
