Me and a buddy decided to head out after about a 5 minute discussion it was set we're hittin the river today. we get to the river gear up and the day has begun moments later. Fishing starts out slow and i was gettin frustrated i couldn't seem to keep anything hooked. so i decide to head on up river. This is where i found my honey hole the ones that matter i kept hooked...but anyway to make a long story short i hooked and landed and released a 23inch cuutbow along with an 18 inch brown man was i the happiest man alive. Let me remind i don"t recommend going fly fishing with out a net mine was previously broken in a freak accident involvoning a car door and i have yet to purchase one. B the wa tight lines fellas and good luck.

oh definitely i'm from pueblo so i have access to this great fishery year round with winter being the best. the flow are just low for this time of year so the fishing has been still realitively good.

Nice work, sir! I had the same freak accident with my net last year and life is tough without one. I replaced my old nylon net with a rubber net from Dicks sporting goods for $25, not a bad deal and your bugs don't get stuck every fish you catch.

Great job, and pretty interesting Rod... is that one of those fancy custom rods from the prisons? ) (Nice to see you on here!)
And as for winter... I would have to disagree... the past month or so is the best this river has ever been... We have NEVER had flows this low and the quantity of bugs we have... Here is my most recent catch... (Think this is the same day you caught your cutbow!)
And another of the strangest fish I ever caught...
