I plan a trip to the Blue for Kokanee in a week. I have been a few years ago, but stopped when the population crashed. The current reports seem like the fishing is great. I'd like a few tips on the current bite compared to my notes of the past. From my notes, this is what was true in the past, is it still good? The bite is mostly from dawn to just before noon? The best speed was about 2.5 mph? I use lead core, 3 colors was about right? Red was the best lure color, followed by green? Spinners like wedding rings and Arnies without pop gear were very good? E half of Cebolla was about the best? Talor Sports in Gunnison was a good stop to get lures? Thanks in advance for any help from you "Blue old pros".
