I dont know about the crawdads but try the snake river arm. They should be hitting rapalas up close to shore closer to dark or after. My buddy got some about two weeks ago. The big browns do like crawdads if there is any though. Good luck n make sure to post a conditions report when u get done catching one. He was getting them on a blue n red three inch.

I agree on the Rapalas...but can I suggest this?
Try using a clear bubble with a 4 to 5 foot leader. Tie on either a Black Bear or Brown Bear streamer in about a # 6, and start throwing it right at dusk and into the night. This is especially effective when there's a moon out to "silouette" the fly. I've caught a few "hogs" this way, one of which went over 8 lbs! Snake River inlet would be a good place to start! Well thanks a lot guys I happen to just get this new brown trout Rapala that I saw for the first time at the Frisco Walmart so I will be sure to leave a conditions report when I can make it back out
