Thanks...I've caught a lot of Browns, but this one looks like a brown but had red and orange fins and spots on it like a Brookie. I'm no expert though.

First time on the fly!? Very nice. A brown that size out of a beaver pond is also cool. Brook trout are a little different, you can refer to the "Fish Species" link above to get some more descriptive features.

not my first on a fly...just my first time fly fishing up there. But you guys are right, Its a Brown, sorry for posting it under the Brook trout Forum. I cant figure out how to change it.
