Post By: priceisright      Posted: 6/9/2012 4:58:01 PM     Points: 40
So I plan to take my little brother to clear creek in Golden after his lacrosse game tomorrow, and I have never fished clear creek before!! So I was wondering what is biting and where a good spot would be to go pretty close to golden?!?

Any other info would be great as well!! Thanx!!

I believe most of the lower canyon has access so you shouldn't have any problem finding runs to fish. Myself, I would look for a hatch, and not seeing one rig a basis nymph or dry/dropper rig. Pheasant tails, prince, small stones, copper johns are usually good for a few fish.

It you have stream experience, you'll do fine.

Good luck.
