River: South Platte - Eleven Mile Canyon
After the storm!
Post By: ŠTÎMŸ      Posted: 6/6/2012 7:45:01 PM     Points: 110
How is fishin after a heavy rain/storm? My experience tells me to check the flows. I'm used to 6000-7000 cfs. What's the blow out stage on the mile? Planning on hitting it real hard tomorrow. Do trout bunker down after 1 rain? Do they activate? Any info would be great. Love the input from all angling perspectives. Spin or fly :) If your there, say hello! Ill be in light gray waders with a black waist pack on. Probably wearing my lucky camo hat. Static drifts. ŠTÎMŸ

Im guessing if the cfs level rises you should have no problem getting into the fish tommrow spin or fly.

Did it storm in the canyon area? How much rain? I live in WP, no rain for weeks here.

About to go see. Looks like flows at 94 cfs. So I'm guessing not bad up there. I'll report when I get back.
