Norwood VFW Post 9398 will be holding it’s second annual fishing tournament June 9, 2012 at the Ridgway Reservoir in Ridgway, CO. The tournament begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 4:00 p.m.

Prizes

Adult, Senior, and Children Classes!
■Grand prize: $10,000 for tagged fish
■$1,000 prize for largest non-tagged fish
■$500 for second-largest fish
■$250 for third-largest fish
■Children prizes: $100 – $50 – $25

Adult/Senior – $35
Children 12 & under – $10

Tickets are available at Sam’s Service, Norwood Hardware and Mountain Village Police Department, or at the Reservoir on June 8th & 9th

Monies from the tournament will be used for the purchase of ACTION TRACKCHAIRS, (an all terrain wheel chair equipped with tracks instead of wheels). Norwood Highschool scholarship program, and supporting Ministry Haven which provides a retreat for chaplains and families at no cost, and the continued support of Combat Veterans and their families or widows, in their time of need.

Last year’s tournament was a wonderful experience for the everyone. With the proceeds of last year’s tournament the Norwood VFW was able to put down money toward two ACTION TRACKCHAIRS, and contribute to all the programs the VFW supports. This year’s tournament should even be more exiciting and fun for the whole family. We look forward to seeing you there.
