the gate is not open as of may 14th but if you walk in its constant catching fun was just there and sure its mostly stockers but this year im seeing some holdovers up into 17" ! try throwing a yellow or green 1/8 th once roster tail use a medium fast retrieve if you have a fish following it in close throw in a drop or two. this system seems to weed out the larger more aggressive fish. kids like action this is the place, and so what, so do adults. just about everything works at bellaire but i have consistently caught bigger fish with this method.
