I'm going with a friend his dad and son To south delaney. since I usually go in september I'm not sure what to use out there right now. my friend is just getting in the fly fishing I would love to put him on some fish! any help would be much appreciated. also some help about north would be great. much obliged.
I just saw this for the first time... sorry I didn't spot it when you posted. Tiny flies have been doing well, chironimids in size 16 to 22 for me, small scuds, and tiny pheasant tails, fished 18 to 24 inches under an indicator when the midges are hatiching. I have found the best activity on the western shore, within thirty yards of the shorline, where there is more shelter from the wind. If you've already gone, hope you had a good trip, and if not, good luck!
