Saturday May 12th, join Cutthroat Chapter TU and the Coalition for the Upper South Platte (CUSP) to plant willows in the Trail Creek area of the Hayman fire burn area. Trail Creek is a tributary of Horse Creek, which flows into the South Platte River just above Deckers. This event is one of ten national conservation projects recognized by Field & Stream in 2012. Come on out and be a conservation hero for a day! Sign up through this link on the CUSP, Volunteer Website.

Did you see any elk or deer on your trip?

We have been planting willows along Trail Creek for four years, I have not seen a deer or an elk in all that time. Maybe nine trips.
