Lake: Loveland Lake
Lake water level

They have started dropping the water level in loveland . Its dropped a couple feet in the last week .When I was there last week there were walleye spawning in what will soon be if it isn't already rip rap out of the water . why can't they just wait till the fry hatch ???? It's just a couple weeks .

Simply because reservoirs are managed for the water users and not the recreational opportunities. Look for major drawdowns this year unless something changes in terms of moisture.
