Camping Trip
Post By: CoFishGirl      Posted: 4/29/2012 8:49:40 PM     Points: 30
Going camping at Heaton Bay Campground and looking to catch some fish on our trip. We are going the first weekend of June so plenty of time before we go, any tips on best time of day to fish? Do fly and bubble, lure or bait work best? I unfortunately don't have a boat, so will be shore fishing. I appreciate any insight, and happy fishing to all.

I would concentrate on the inlet areas. Fly and bubble early and late will have an excellent chance of producing.

While a bit more work, working the steeper rocky areas with small jigs (you will lose a few) has a shot at some browns.

Good luck

I find dillon fishes well after 3pm when all the water traffic dies down being able to do some relaxing bait fishing seems to always produce for me especially in the hotter months.
