Thank god the big girls are not in there, or I'm sure they would all go home as well, regardless of size..

I would recommend not harvesting any walleye or saugeye from our Arkansas River due to the fact that these fish are still immature (merely adult fish) in size. You will come across occasionally a 18 in plus female walleye on our river. but FYI, there are few of this size in the river which is why they need to be released if caught in order to maintain a stable walleye fishery on the river. If everyone follows regulations, then our river might become known for producing some large walleye/saugeye and not just be known for its excellent trout fishing. I was pulling plugs for some pretty decent sized trout yesterday evening and every now and then a strike would come from a walleye that was almost as long as my plug. I want to say that walleye are out there in our river in abundance in some areas, but most are juvenile fish, yet very healthy in appearance. The number of small walleye that I have caught over the past week is indicative that the Ark is becoming more than a trout destination. If anyone wants to experience some walleye hookups on our river, let me know. I'll gladly shown anyone a honey hole for some good fish as long as the person is a genuine, fish lover like myself. I'll be on the river again today!

Hey wisconsin and bassoreno.. I have family in Wausau and I lived there for 10 years. I also lived in Merrill before I moved here in 2009.. I used to fish Lake Tomahawk and Minq all the time. as well as the Willow Flowage. I would be on the wisconsin river right now below the Dubay dam if I wasnt here in good ol colorado!!

Riverfisher not sure if everyone would totally agree with you, those walleye are meat eaters and fry trout are probably pretty tasty to them, IMO dont think trout and walleye will co exsist in small river. My son has been fishing river and catching desent sized walleye sometimes 20 a trip only keeping some over 18 inches to eat, also walleye is a predotor, look what happened to the mile with the pike, almost ruined that fishery, thats why they have 18 inch min. on walleye caught above dam. IMO

@fishinwfoos, you can do a decent job with paint, which comes with windows. The windows 7 version is pretty good. To do a masterful job, you need psp or photoshop.
