As of Tuesday this week, Barker still frozen solid. I was surprised there weren't any cracks or gaps across the middle of the lake as a result of the warm spell and all the wind we've had. I'm guessing the ice is really thick.

So frustrating -- this lake would be perfect for ice fishing. And I don't even ice fish (yet). It's just as silly as not being able to put in my canoe in the summer. I KNOW there's huge lakers in the middle -- just wish I could get to them!
