Neenoshe is basicly dead
I wrote them a couple of weeks ago to find out if it has recovered.
Here is the email I got. With some editting.
For NEEGronda
From CPW: The rebuilding of the fishery has taken some important steps. Firstly, the gizzard shad forage base has been successfully rebuilt. This will allow future fish stocking efforts to be more successful. These are fish that were stocked as fry in 2010. Also catfish have been stocked and are doing well. Other species, such as crappie, saugeye, and, white bass, are still relatively low in number.
Nee Gronde continues its steady decline due to evaporative losses and no fresh inflows. Water quality deteriorates as the lake shrinks and (obviously) boat access become difficult to impossible. Currently, no boat launching facility exists at Nee Gronde. Avenues are being explored to acquire a significant amount of water to refill Nee Gronde, but these are costly and may not even be available due to drought conditions in SE CO.

Make sure to let them know that you are interested in the recovery of these lakes as I am. And maybe they will keep at it.
