Here's a short video of a cutthroat trout I caught today (Jan 16) in front of Deer Island, near Witcher's Cove.

Nice fish and video!!! I loe the quality and the camera on the tripod. I am guessing no W.I.N.D. that day!

Here's another video perspective of the same fish recorded on my helmet cam. Unfortunately, the video was cut way short due to low battery.

That's a great fish. What was that about a 20"? I was there a couple days back and caught a few on the SE side of the island. What kind of camera is that you used on the tripod?

@justin77- I've caught my biggest trout out of Cross Creek, 28", and I was only in 6' of water. But now I prefer the deeper water of Sucker Cove. It's been very good to me over the years. But I've had my share of slow days at Eleven Mile also. The big fish I've caught out of there is what always keeps me coming back. Here's a fun video and slideshow I made in 2009 of fish we specifically caught out of sucker cove, next to cross creek:

@ZZZ - Thanks for finding that video!! It's awesome that someone actually knew where I got the name from.

@Easyriderguy - believe it or not, that fish was only 17 1/2". My video camera is nothing fancy, Creative Labs Vado HD pocket video camera, less than $80. It works best on a tripod because has no image stabilization.
