hows the fishing at Sylvan?

I want to head up to Sylvan on Sunday the 18th, has anyone fished from the shore lately and what did you have good luck with?

we were just there 9/10 and struck out, there were fish in there and coming to the surface but we had no luck with anything we tried, spinners,crank baits, worms, eggs,spoons. we could only stay a couple hours we had to get to a wedding back in Edwards. saw a guy get a few bites using a fly rod but couldn't land them. i was surprised how many people were there maybe because there was a wedding right by the dock but also a lot of campers.
