When is the spawn?
Post By: nate1      Posted: 6/30/2011 11:33:07 AM     Points: 792
Hey guys, i was plannin on heading up to Joe Wright a week after the 4th. I went up last year the end of June and did great, but i heard there is still ice and snow on some spots. When i went there last year, the grayling were in full spawn and attacking everything. But this year it looks like they are still not eating. When are they going to spawn this year? i dont want to go up and take my freind and dad and brother and not catch anything. IF anyone knows anything about the grayling spawn, or when the fishing will probably be best this year, please repond.

Again, my email is nathan1997@qwestoffice.net if no ones wants to share on a public site....... any help would be great

Thanks

Nathan

I'd say we have at least a good 3 weeks to a month before we see a spawn even beginning.

I'd like to get into them this year. My coworkers will be going over that way every week for a while, so I'm hoping they'll let me know when they stack up in the river. I'm hoping to catch them on the other side of Hwy 14.
