Need advice

Never fished the Yampa by Steamboat before, just wondering if anyone's been there recently. Will be there this weekend could use some help on where to go and which flies have been working the best.

Check Steamboat Flyfisher out. If you don't find the info out from their site, call them.

If I was going, I'd be thinking a little out of town, and thinking tailwater )

Good Luck, and post some pictures when you get back

I'm in Steamboat now. The river in downtown is opening up. I haven't fished it yet but a call to Steamboat Flyfishers as suggested should get you an idea on what's working. It the past stoneflies have been good when the river starts to open.
