Lake granby fishing report
by: Bernie Keefe 6/10/2013
This lake Granby fishing report is brought to you by "Fishing with Bernie". The pelicans must be happy they are once again lounging on the banks of lake Granby. I have been hearing great reports about the rainbow fishing at Willow Creek and the fore bay leaving it. Grand lake, shadow mountain and Granby's brown trout are eating crawdads, sculpin and 4' rainbows like children eat cotton candy at the county fair. Fish the windy banks and at low hours to get into this bite. The lake trout are continuing their pilgrimage to the deep. While they are leaving the shallows they are starting to move in with the smaller ones. This does not bode well for the smaller fish, the larger ones are eating smaller lake trout.

Nice report Bernie. We need to get something going on rainbows, 2000 catchables so far this year in a lake the size of Granby is pretty sad.

Sounds like 2000 rainbows is just about a snack for those lakers. Thanks Bernie, looks like its time to head back up.
