I will be the first to admit that over the years I have evolved into a little bit of a "Rod Snob." I would only fish one particular brand of rod and paid for the name. That doesn't mean they weren't good rods, they just were a little more expensive than I could afford, but I bought them anyway. Was this a mistake? Who knows, but I will say this, I could have spent less and not sacrificed quality.

I will be up front and say that I am sponsored by TFO rods, and I would not have selected them if I did not think they were a good stick. What impressed me more than anything with these rods was the price tag, I picked up a TFO Signature Series rod and thought for sure it was a $200 fishing rod. The rep told me," try half of that!" I then picked up the Tacical Series 7'11'' Swimbait rod and felt like I was holding a rod that was way out of my price range. Wrong again, this rod was only $50 more than the Signature Series rod.

Okay so what makes them so special other than the affordability? Many of you have seen G.
