The Lock-n-Haul^® transom saver is a one piece device that completely stabilizes the outboard motor and stops all harmful motor movement, by locking both the tilt and steering pivots. What’s cool is that it’s much smaller so when your done using it, all you need to do is put it in a compartment ,as opposed to hauling it back to the truck. The ends are 7/8" diameter and the tubes are 3/4" diameter. Tilt your motor until you have 13" between the steering pivot rod flange bolt heads, and the indents/concaves on the transom mounting bracket. If you can put a 3/4" diameter tube between them then it will work on your motor. The main thing is getting the unit set for your specific motor which requires setting your Lock-n-Haul to the center line points on the top and then the bottom of your locating area. Once you have it set your done it’s a one time adjustment.

After using the unit for a few weeks I can give you my unequivocal recommendation !! I use to come home and have my motor turned or tilted ,now its rock solid plus it’s straight as an arrow.
