What a busy weekend coming up! the weather forecast calls for great weather except for the wind that is. The ANS inspectors come out of their winter hibernation and begin inspecting boats at Carter Lake and Horsetooth Reservoir. Since I guide on these lakes I'm very excited to get out on the water in a boat on my home water. Spring fishing has been good on other waters but both of these Larimer County lakes get me back into my comfort zone.
And speaking of Larimer County, don't forget to attend the 8th Annual Larimer County Fishing Expo. Parking is free, admission is free and there are plenty of displays. There are seminars from several of the Fish Explorer Field Editors. Go fishing early, then stop by and take advantage of this opportunity to learn from the likes of Nate Zelinsky, Chad LaChance, Dave Coulson, Terry Wickstrom and me (I'll be doing a sonar seminar at 4 PM on Saturday). Finally, don't miss your chance to win great prizes in the Fishful Thinker casting contest.
Flyrodn, CO 3/30/2012 9:25:39 AM Crazy, you got that right. Taking off this afternoon to set up the Fish Explorer booth with Matt. Looking forward to it, but I will admit with the warm weather it would be nice to be on the water too. See you there.
