Welcome Jon HIll, our newest blogger
by: David Coulson 3/29/2012
One of my objectives is to make sure we have plenty of fresh content on Fish Explorer. While the forum is always a source of information and entertainment, we are way more than a place for members to exchange views. There are the lake and river pages, giving in depth information on our states waters. We have fish species listing and descriptions, news, a calendar and articles. And finally we have a number of anglers, pros and “amateurs” who share their knowledge with us through their blogs, our field editors and bloggers. As Fish Explorer continues to grow we are always on the outlook for new personalities who can bring different perspectives to Fish Explorer. This year alone we’ve brought on board Ryan Wood, Jen Kugler, Jenny Kalous, and Ronny Cast, each with their own perspectives of the sport. Ryan, a youthful one, Jen, a beginning fly fisher, Jenny, the LadyinPink an experienced woman’s perspective, and Ronny Cast, expertise in warm water fishing and cooking. But I’m not stopping there. Over the next week I’ll be announcing three more additions to our outstanding staff, two new bloggers and a new field editor from the Western Slope. The first is Jon Hill, who will be blogging. An accomplished fly fisher, videographer, and author, Jon has been published in American Angler, The Drake, and Deuter Backpacks. Raised back east, he started fishing early in life, and brought that passion with him when he moved to Colorado several years back. While he loves fishing a variety of waters, he particularly loves remote high county waters. In reviewing his work, there is no doubt in my mind that he will bring a lot to Fish Explorer. Please help me welcome Jon Hill.
