New article posted: Researching New Waters
by: David Coulson 11/20/2011

Planning for the fishing trip of a life time, such as my trip last year to Arctic Lodges, Saskatchewan, visiting new waters on a family visit, or exploring someplace new near home is part of the fun of fishing.  It sure is for me, as I find the preparation for the trip is half the fun, both the research where I learn about new fish species, methods to catch them, and a bit about the area I’ll soon be fishing.  Good preparation goes a long way toward ensuring your dreams about the trip come to true.

We just activated a new article by Dan Swanson, Colorado Fish Explorer Field Editor, tournament angler, and guide, “Researching New Waters.”  Dan provides great insight in how to go about researching and planning for your next fishing adventure.  Give it a read.  It will help you make your next trip to a new fishing spot everything you hoped for, maybe even a bit more.

Given that Danno has fished all over the country, this ought to be great info! CL
