New Article Posted Today
by: David Coulson 8/11/2011

While most of our articles have a “serious” how-to side to them, not all are that way.  Today we activated an article about carp’s introduction to the Front Range of Colorado, by John Davenport, “How the Queen of the Rivers Taught America to Catch & Release.”

This humorous and loosely factual story is an enjoyable read. It was first published in the Denver Trout Unlimited (DTU) Chapter’s eNewsletter, “The Drift.”  We feel fortunate to have gained permissions to reproduce this article on FishExplorer.com.

Carp Slam is pro-am fishing event held August 27, 2011, hosted by DTU as one of their fund raisers for restoration work on the Metro sections of the South Platte River.  This area has become a popular area to chase carp and with future improvements has potential to be much more.  For more information on the Carp Slam visit http://www.carpslam.org/.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the latest addition to our growing library of articles as much as I did.
