Hello, im going to be visiting LA for a family reunion the end of June. Planning a deep sea fishing trip not necessarily a charter, just open fishing. Been looking online at a few places near Newport Beach, but would like to know if any are more reputable then others. Any input would be appreciated.
Went with Davey's Locker out of Newport Beach. Worst fishing trip ever. Very, very unprofessional staff. Booked way too many people for the boat, 98 people on the boat with 98 spaces to fish. Would not recommend fishing on their charter.
Wow, thanks for the feedback. It sometimes is the case where these guys are trying to make a max amount of money. Next time I recommend a six pack boat. Small amounts of anglers and usually you will pay a little more. However the trips are usually a lot better. Very sorry I did not think to say something earlier.
