Since 1972, the Chico Area Flyfishers club has been involved in community activities which support and promote fly fishing. The Chico Area Flyfishers also support and participate in projects throughout northern California which enhance fisheries and fish habitat. The club works with youth and adults alike to foster a love of fishing and the great outdoors.

The club meets on the second Thursday of every month. Fly tying begins at 6:30pm and the general meeting begins at 7:30pm.
