The Ventura County Bass Club is one of the most well established bass clubs in Southern California. The club was formed in 1974 with only a handful of members. With the support of the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (“B.A.S.S.”), tournaments were held and prizes awarded. The interest in bass fishing soared in Ventura County. The club grew quickly and became a sustainable entity through it’s values and organization. Separate club and board meetings are held each month. The Ventura County Bass Club is known for helping others become better bass anglers. We strive to make it “more than a Bass Club” through endless efforts in helping our local lakes and communities in many worthwhile projects.
