Ego boost! by: Tim Emery   5/19/2009

After a tough weekend at  Aurora, where I didn't even touch a fish, today seemed like a perfect day to take the afternoon off. Boy, did we hit it right.  Turns out Chris Galvin and I got to Quincy an hour after the stocking truck.  I am not a guy who likes to chase the truck, but it was a heck of a lot of fun! Trout on every cast, including some doubles and triples.

As I was out there releasing fish after fish, I couldn't help but think....I can't wait until my son is old enough to fish with me!  This was the kind of day you should have your kid with you. Don't forget about The Kids Photo Contest!

This weeks podcast will feature Rick Messmer from the Teva Mountain Games!  Rick also gives us tips on how to get your kids to fish.

Just a bonus to the afternoon, I caught a 4lb. largemouth bass on a sz.14 midge.  It sounds fishing is picking up everywhere!
